Kendra Gaines

Kendra (Cameron) Gaines is a USBC Silver Certified bowling coach.  From 2004 to 2006, Kendra was an assistant coach to Junior Team USA.  Working and traveling with the coaching staff and players of Junior Team USA were some of the most amazing and rewarding moments of her coaching career to date.

Prior to becoming a full time coach, Kendra had a successful career with Team USA and the Professional Women’s Bowling (PWBA) tour.  As her experience grew, she became a threat to take the top spot each week.  Unfortunately, at the height of Kendra’s bowling career, the PWBA folded in 2003.  She managed to take away two PWBA titles and almost 20 top 5 television appearances.

Kendra and husband John decided to have a family and in 2007, Madison Gaines entered the world.  Kendra then took a break from full-time competitive bowling, but remained active in coaching.  Because bowling has been her life and been so good to her, Kendra always wanted to help others enjoy the game and sport of bowling.  Kendra enjoys coaching bowlers of all skill levels.

In 2009, she decided that it was time to get back to bowling.  Kendra entered the Team USA trials in December where she finished the tournament in 2nd place, earning a spot on Team USA 2010.
